PTFE Coated Butterfly Valve(Wafer Type) Introduction
PTFE butterfly valve is in order to adapt to some corrosive environment with strong acid, strong alkali, petroleum, chemical, food and many other special areas of the needs of the valve body made of polytetrafluoroethylene, which has a strong anticorrosive effect. It can replace the stainless steel valve body under regular conditions, and has a higher cost performance. The butterfly valve's butterfly plate is installed in the diameter direction of the pipeline. In the cylindrical channel of the butterfly valve body, the disc-shaped butterfly plate rotates around the axis, and the rotation angle is between 0° and 90°, and the valve is fully open when rotated to 90°.
Features of PTFE butterfly valve
- Corrosion resistance: polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a material with high chemical stability, able to resist the erosion of most acids, alkalis, salts and other corrosive media, so PTFE butterfly valve has excellent corrosion resistance.
- Good sealing performance: Since the valve flap is made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) material, it has low friction coefficient and good self-lubricating performance, so PTFE lined butterfly valve can realize good sealing effect in the closed state, effectively preventing the leakage of media.
- Light operation: The valve flap of PTFE lined butterfly valve adopts butterfly structure, which makes the opening and closing torque of the valve smaller, and the operation is light. At the same time, the transmission mechanism can adopt various forms, such as manual, electric, pneumatic, etc., which is convenient for users to choose according to the actual needs.
- Long service life: Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) material has good abrasion resistance and anti-aging properties, making PTFE lined butterfly valves have a long service life and can be operated stably for a long time.
