ANSI Globe Valve Introduction
Globe valve through the valve stem to drive the valve flap along the axis of the sealing surface of the valve seat to do lifting movement, to achieve the purpose of opening and closing, can be used for a variety of pressures and a variety of temperatures to transport a variety of liquids and gases, but also can be used to do cut off, distribution and change the direction of flow of the medium of the control components. Globe valve rely on the pressure of the valve bar, so that the valve sealing surface and the valve seat sealing surface close to prevent the flow of media, belongs to the mandatory sealing valve. When the medium from below the valve flap into the valve, the operating force needs to overcome the resistance, is the stem and packing friction and the pressure generated by the medium of the thrust, the force off the valve is greater than the force of the open valve, so the diameter of the valve stem should be large, otherwise it will occur the stem top bending failure. The opening and closing parts of the globe valve is a plug-shaped valve flap, sealing above the plane or sea cone surface, the valve flap along the center line of the valve seat for linear movement
The ANSI globe valve is a highly reliable valve designed to regulate flow in pipelines with precision and efficiency. Its sturdy construction and ANSI standard compliance ensure long-lasting performance. With its optimal flow control capabilities, this valve is ideal for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications.

FAQs
What is a globe valve? How does it work?
A globe valve is a valve used to regulate flow in a pipeline. It has a movable disc and a fixed ring seat in a circular valve body. The valve regulates flow by moving the disc away from or toward the seat, thereby precisely controlling the fluid passing through.
What are the main components of a globe valve?
The main components include the valve body, bonnet, stem, valve core (disc), seat, handwheel or actuator. The disc and seat are key components for controlling flow.
What are the common types of globe valves?
Common types include T-type (standard), Y-type (oblique) and angle globe valves. Each type is designed for specific applications and flow characteristics.
What are the main differences between gate valves and globe valves?
1 Different structures: The opening and closing parts of gate valves are parallel slides. They move perpendicular to the direction of fluid flow; globe valves are rotary gate plates or lifting rod-type opening and closing parts that move parallel to the direction of fluid flow.
2 Different functions: Gate valves are mainly used for on/off control. It is not suitable for throttling or flow regulation because partial opening can damage the gate and seat due to fluid velocity and turbulence. Globe valves are designed to regulate flow. The position of the disc relative to the seat allows for precise flow control and is suitable for throttling applications.
Where are globe valves commonly used?
Globe valves are commonly used in applications that require precise flow control, such as HVAC systems, water treatment, chemical processing, and steam systems
