Union Valve: Advanced Equipment & Testing - Achieving Valve Optimal Quality
As a key component in fluid control systems, the quality and performance of valves directly affect the safety and stability of the entire system. Therefore, whether during production, installation, or before use, valves need to undergo a series of strict inspection items to ensure that they meet the design requirements and have stable and reliable performance.
Union Valve is well aware of the importance of inspection for valve products and has always been committed to combining the most advanced technologies with the strictest quality standards. We continuously optimize the production process and inspection methods to ensure that every product can meet or even exceed industry standards.
Advanced Equipment Leads Manufacturing Innovation
In order to further improve production efficiency and product quality, Union Valve continues to introduce advanced equipment to ensure high-precision processing and efficient production in every link of valve manufacturing. Recently, we have added the following equipment:
CNC Gantry Drilling
It operates according to the instructions input by the operator and is precisely controlled by the computer system. Through CNC programming, the valve processing paths and cutting parameters can be accurately replicated, ensuring that each production batch complies with consistent standards and specifications. This minimizes quality issues caused by process variations, enabling us to complete large orders in a short period of time without affecting quality. Such reliability forms the basis of our long-term partnerships and excellent reputation.
Horizontal Boring And Milling Machine
It is equipped with a high-precision numerical control system and powerful cutting capabilities. A variety of cutting tools conduct corresponding cutting and processing according to the type and shape of the workpiece to be processed, achieving precise machining of passage holes, sealing surfaces and flange connection surfaces. Its flexible movement ability meets various valve processing requirements, allowing us to produce more precise valve products. The efficient automation of this equipment, as well as real-time monitoring and compensation, ensure that every valve we produce meets the highest standards.
Vertical Lathe
The workpiece is rotated by the rotating worktable, and the cutting tool moves radially or axially to cut the outer circle, end face and inner hole of the valve body. It can ensure the concentricity, flatness and dimensional accuracy of the valve. Meanwhile, through its powerful supporting ability, it effectively reduces vibration, improves machining stability and surface quality, enabling us to produce valves that fully meet customer specifications and ensuring the quality and standards of each valve.
Horizontal Lathe
By automatically selecting various cutting tools and flexibly adjusting the tool paths, it is suitable for processing tasks with different requirements of valves. Our valves can achieve high-precision machining, and almost every product is exactly the same as the original product design within a very small tolerance range, precisely meeting customers' customized needs.
Rigorous Quality Inspection Process
The product quality of Union Valve benefits not only from advanced manufacturing equipment but also from a comprehensive quality inspection system. In the quality control process, we adopt a variety of professional equipment and inspection methods:
Structural Inspection
- Visual Inspection: Check whether there are obvious defects or structural damages on the appearance of the valve, such as cracks, rust, and deformation.
- Inspection of Connecting Bolts: Ensure that the connecting bolts are present and tightened properly to prevent leakage caused by looseness.
- Internal Inspection: Check whether all the internal components of the valve are complete and whether the cooperation among the components is reasonable to ensure that the valve can work normally.
Performance Testing
1.Valve Life Testing
- Torque Testing:The test bench can accurately measure the torque magnitude of the valve during the operation process, ensuring that the torque value is within the designed range and avoiding valve operation difficulties or seal failures caused by excessive or insufficient torque.
- Pressure Testing:Simulate the pressure environments under different working conditions, test the valve's operating ability under high and low pressure conditions, and verify its sealing performance and pressure-bearing capacity.
- Cycle Life Testing:The test bench can repeatedly execute the opening and closing cycles, simulate the actual working conditions of the valve during long-term use, and detect whether it can maintain good performance under multiple operations.
- Data Recording and Analysis:During the testing process, the equipment will record key parameters (such as torque values, pressure values, and cycle numbers) in real time and generate detailed analysis reports for evaluating product performance and improving the design.
2.Rubber-joint-life-test
As an important component connecting the pipeline system, the wear resistance of the rubber joint directly affects the safety and service life of the pipeline. Our rubber joint life testing equipment simulates the actual working conditions, adjusts parameters such as temperature, pressure, and vibration frequency, tests the stress, strain, and deformation of the joint, and evaluates its fatigue life.
3.Rubber-joint-sealing-pressure-test
It is used to evaluate the sealing performance and pressure-resistant capacity of the rubber joint. This test ensures that the product can still maintain its sealing performance under extreme pressure and avoid the risk of leakage.
4.Shaft-hardness-test
It measures the anti-deformation ability of materials and reflects the valve quality and manufacturing process. It helps to detect defects such as impurities or pores and ensures consistency and performance.
5.Metallographic-microscope-observation
It is a method of observing and analyzing the internal microstructure of valve materials through a microscope to detect defects and cracks inside the materials. Its aim is to evaluate the performance and quality of the materials and ensure the safety and reliability of industrial production.
6.Spherical content observation
Analyze the shape, size and distribution of spherical features (such as graphite spheres in ductile iron) to evaluate material properties like strength, ductility and quality.
7.Ductile-Iron-Grinding
Conduct surface treatment on ductile iron components through the grinding process to ensure that the surfaces are smooth and free of defects, laying the foundation for subsequent inspections and processing.
8.Observe the Dent
Inspect the surfaces of parts for defects to ensure that there are no dents, cracks or other surface flaws, guaranteeing the aesthetics and functionality of the products.
Non-destructive Testing
Non-destructive testing of valves is a crucial link in ensuring their quality and performance, and it is especially indispensable for detecting internal defects and material compositions. Union Valve is equipped with industry-leading non-destructive testing equipment, which can comprehensively evaluate valve performance from multiple dimensions and ensure that every product meets the highest standards.
1.Ultrasonic-testing: Utilize ultrasonic technology to detect whether there are defects such as cracks and slag inclusions inside the valve.
2.Magnetic-particle-testing: Use magnetic particles to display tiny cracks and defects on the surface of the valve. Defects will generate leakage fields that attract magnetic particles and form obvious defects.
3.Penetration-detection-testing: Employ penetrants to detect open defects on the surface of the valve to ensure that the surface quality of the product reaches the highest standard.
4.Spectrometer-testing: Utilize spectral technology to accurately detect elements and their concentrations in materials, ensuring the quality and performance of the valve. It can precisely detect the material composition of the valve.
To sum up, valve inspection items cover multiple aspects such as structural inspection, performance testing, special testing and non-destructive testing. The implementation of these inspection items helps to ensure the quality and safety of valves, make them meet the design requirements and work stably and reliably.
